XAI-LSTM-BRAVE - integrated brain stroke detection and prevention system

Abstract: Stroke is a leading cause of life-threatening emergencies globally which leaves little time for effective intervention. This paper introduces XAI-LSTM-BRAVE, a novel and human-centric methodology for stroke detection and prevention. Our system combines EEG-based brain activity monitoring, physiological monitoring using smartwatches, and brain-stimulating massage therapy, to offer a complete solution to brain stroke risk management. We deploy Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) neural networks for time-series analysis to predict and track trends in risk. We integrate the system with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) using FHIR to ensure health information accessibility for clinicians. This paper explores the strategy, blueprint, implementation, and possible favorable results for patients and families involved.
