Abstract: The legal industry is undergoing a profound transformation driven by advancements in Legal Technology (Legal Tech) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). These innovations are revolutionizing legal services by automating routine tasks, enhancing decision-making accuracy, and improving overall efficiency. AI-powered tools now assist in contract analysis, legal research, e-discovery, and predictive analytics, enabling legal professionals to streamline workflows and optimize case outcomes. While these technologies offer significant benefits, such as cost reduction and time savings, they also introduce ethical concerns, including biases in AI decision-making, data privacy risks, and regulatory challenges. This paper examines the current applications of AI in the legal domain, explores its future potential, and presents mathematical models to quantify efficiency gains. It further discusses the necessary preparations legal professionals must undertake to adapt to this evolving landscape.
