Abstract: This paper explores how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming software development processes. This paper also addresses the challenges and ethical implications of integrating AI into software development. Ultimately, this paper argues that AI is not merely an addition, but rather a catalyst for a paradigm shift in software design, development, and maintenance, presenting the industry with both opportunities and challenges for the future.
